Das traditionsreiche Juweliergeschäft »Gebr. Godet & Co.« geht auf den hugenottischen Gold- und Silberschmied Jean Godet (1732-1796) zurück. Dessen Großvater, Abraham Godet, ließ sich bereits 1685 in Berlin nieder.
