Rx: IVNO REGINA Juno standing l. holding patera and scepter, peacock at her feet. A very rare lady on antoniniani: Roger Bland's corpus of the coinage of Vabalathus and Zenobia in Num. Chronicle 171, 2011, listed only 32 such antoniniani, without our specimen, coming from seven obverse and five reverse dies. The S in the obverse legend stands for Septimia.The letters have been slightly strengthened, but the portrait of this rare empress is untouched. aVF
