Rx: REX PARTHIS - DA[TVS] on l. and r, S C in exergue, Trajan, attended by officer, seated l. on camp chair on platform, placing diadem on head of Parthamaspates, who stands l. before platform; before Parthamaspates Parthia kneels r. wearing pointed hat and extending both hands to receive the new king. Definitely a new bust type for this reverse type, but hard to identify with any of the other types described by Woytek, because of the poor condition of our coin and of several of the others that Woytek identifies and illustrates..
