COINS OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE.
GETA, AD 209-212. Sestertius, about 210. AE 21.53 g. IMP CAES P SEPT - GETA PIVS AVG Laureate head r., seen from rear, drapery on l. shoulder. Rev. PONTIF TR P II COS II / SC Geta and Caracalla, both veiled and wearing mantle, standing facing each other, sacrificing over tripod; behind, flute-player facing, at the feet of the tripod, bull reclining l. BMC 401, 214; C. 145; RIC IV/1, 337, 156a.
Scarce. Dark, olive­green patina. Almost extremely fine
