CYRENE. Tetradrachm, about 450. AR 17.22 g. Silphion plant. Rev. KYPA Bearded head of Zeus Ammon r., wearing ram's horn; all within linear and dotted borders. BMC 10, 41 and pl.V, 17; Boston 173, 1310; SNG Lockett 3468.
Extremely rare and of outstanding quality, a real gem.
Thick flan with high relief. Extremely fine
