COINS OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE. PLOTINA, wife of Traianus, died AD 122 (?). Aureus, with Matidia, niece of Trajan, struck under Hadrian, about 117-118. AV 7.35 g. PLOTIN - AE.AVG Draped and diademed bust of Plotina r., hair in a plait in the back of the head. Rev. MATI-DI - AE.AVG Draped and diademed bust r. of Matidia. BMC 246,53; Calico I, 235,1150; RIC II/3rev., 237,2450. Extremely rare. Good very fine
