Novgorod cut silver "Bar-Shaped" 1/2 Grivna ND (c. 13th-14th Century) XF, cf. Petrov-132 (for uncut specimen), Spassky-pg. 65, Fig. 44. 65x13x16mm. 98.38gm. The first of these cut half grivnas we have encountered, quite similar to the piece plated in Spassky, though without inscription. A small character appears struck on the cut end of the ingot.
