As noted the last time we sold an example of this date and mint, Resplandores considers this as a type that "generally, comes simply awful...this date is probably the worst of the entire series." Though the imperfect strike is very much displayed in this case, the example remains good for the date/mint, with a rich and original cabinet patina adding a great sense of age and authenticity.
