Papal States. Innocent XI Testone Anno VIII (1684) MS64 NGC, Rome mint, cf. KM434 (style of cartouche), B-2102. A specimen which absolutely beams with quality, every recessed area of the design filled with die polish and pervaded by soft tones. A piece seemingly deserving of a higher technical grade.
