Edward VIII silver Matte Specimen "Coronation" Medal 1937 SP64 PCGS, BHM-4284 var (unlisted in silver), Eimer-Unl. 43mm. By G. Allen (?). A seemingly very rare unpublished metal and finish for this coronation piece of Edward VIII. According to Brown, many of the Edwardian coronation pieces produced by souvenir sellers became nearly worthless after his abdication, making the survival of high-grade specimens quite scant.
