Struck upon the death of Johann Friedrich in Augsburg, this one-year issue features luminous, argent centers with jewel-like patina near the rims. Upon closer inspection with the aid of a glass, the intricately-styled obverse coat-of-arms retains full high-point definition, and the reverse inscription equally delights the eye with its raised silhouettes. A must for the grade-conscious collector, this offering is currently the finest certified example of the type by either major grading party.
