Ferdinand VII gold Escudo 1819/8 NR-JF XF45 NGC, Nuevo Reino mint, cf. KM64.1 (overdate unlisted), Restrepo-122.24 (listed as 19/18). A significant and very rare overdate, previously unlisted even by Restrepo until the second edition of his reference was published, and one which hardly ever appears at auction. The bottom of the 8 is clearly visible beneath the 9, though the 1 does not appear overstruck.
