SELEUCID KINGDOM. Antiochus VI Dionysus (144-ca. 142 BC). AR tetradrachm (32mm, 16.52 gm, 1h). NGC Choice XF 4/5 - 4/5, die shift. Antioch on the Orontes, dated Seleucid Era 170 (143/2 BC). Radiate, diademed head of Antiochus VI right, one diadem end waving across border behind, the other falling forward over shoulder; bead-and-reel border / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟY / ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟΥΣ / ΔΙΟΝΥΣΟΥ, the Dioscuri on horseback left, each holding couched spear and wearing pileus topped by star; OP (date) below horse's forelegs, TPY above HΔP monogram above ΣTA in right field, all within Dionysiac wreath of laurel and ivy leaves, and grain ears.
