An incredible and from all angles nearly immaculate specimen of this extremely elusive Proof, of which we can find no examples higher than a PR64 coming to auction. Colored to a charming sky blue with hints of graphite and gold patina and deeply mirrored fields, even the devices appear mildly frosted--a feature often lacking in Russian Proofs, leading to many not receiving cameo designations. Presently the finest of the date across both NGC and PCGS combined, and a clear contender for the serious collector of Russian issues.
