Description

temp. Philip IV silver Atocha Shipwreck Recovery Ingot of 84 troy lb 11.52 troy oz 162x, An incredible (and massive) relic piece from one of the most famous shipwreck recoveries in history. The bar itself, granular from its multi-century time spent at the bottom of the ocean, retains much of the marking that would help identify variables such as date, purity, owner/shipper, etc. Included with this lot is the original certificate that accompanied the piece with the facsimile signature of treasure-hunter Mel Fisher. Ex. Gerry Lane Family Collection
