Ferdinand III gold 2 Ducat 1642 MS61 NGC, Hall mint, KM899, Fr-247. Extremely rare as an original strike, this fantastic specimen exhibits abundant luster over its crisply struck surfaces, the flan slightly wavy but clearly as-produced. Close inspection reveals very little in the way of hardship or wear, and as such it is evident that this specimen has been conservatively graded. A wonder to behold, and worthy of inclusion in even the finest of Austrian collections.
