Description

Carol I gold 50 Lei 1906 MS60 NGC, Brussels mint, KM39, Fr-6. Struck to commemorate the 40th year of Carol's reign. Medallic, and engraved in low-relief, meaning every detail has been sharply rendered by the strike, the canary-yellow color indicative of a high silver content in the alloy. Some scuffing is evident in the fields commensurate with the grade, but this is mostly absorbed by the residual mint gloss.
