Venice. Ludovico Manin silver Osella Anno I (1789) MS65 NGC, Paolucci II, 272. Obv. Venice standing, facing left, holding horn and book. Rev. Four-line inscription, and date, within wreath. Spectacular eye-appeal, with shimmering silver-gray patina and golden accents around the peripheries. The strike is a bit soft in the central areas, as struck, and the surfaces exhibit only minuscule marks. A truly super example.
