George IV gold Sovereign 1829 MS63 NGC, KM696, S-3801. A rarer date in George's Sovereign series and even more scarcely encountered in Mint State. Aglow with silky luster, some minor striking softness to the highpoints of the king's portrait but to no great visual detraction. A popular early type, matched by only a few for technical quality.
