Description

Central American Republic gold 8 Escudos 1828 CR-F XF Details (Obverse Scratched) NGC, San Jose mint, KM17, Onza-1746. A pleasing golden example which carries sweeping amber coloration over its surfaces, adding a pleasing element of color contrast throughout the obverse and reverse alike. A moderate scratch to the left of the sun is noted but does not feel overtly distracting in hand, making for an appealing representative of an issue that continues to see high demand for both its scarcity and aesthetic charm.
