Victoria gold "Inverted A/Roman I" Sovereign 1860 MS61 NGC, KM736.1, S-3852D. Inverted "A" for "V" in VICTORIA, Roman I in date and the 8 has been repunched over a lower 8. The single highest graded example of this variety by either NGC or PCGS, and the only one to have achieved Mint State. Mildly handled in line with its certification, but to no great degree and retaining strong eye appeal. A unique opportunity for the grade conscious collector to obtain one of the finest known representatives of this type.
