Issued after Algeria's independence from France was effected in 1962, these notes still remained glorious examples of French bank note design and printing. Each incorporates a riot of pastel colors and has a large watermark that make it very clear who designed these notes. Each note is roulette cancelled SPECIMEN and bears a stamped Specimen number as well as a solid zero serial number.
