A very rare gold emission from this historically complex "half" canton, preserved in what appears to be rather nice condition for the type despite some minor abrasions and flan imperfections. Despite the noted removal from jewelry, no prominent signs of mount removal are noticeable, some raggedness to the edges perhaps suggesting use in a bezel. From the Allen Moretti Swiss Collection
