Sun Yat Sen is featured on both examples which featured the portrait on the English side, which is considered the back. The same design is executed in two different colors, with and without the signatures. On the issued examples, the signatures are not a part of the plate, and brown was used for the intaglio features, indicating that the green example may be a proposal from an earlier stage of the printing process. A very interesting pair.
