Experts are still conflicted on whether these 600 Rupiah notes are Remainders or Proofs, but there is supposedly only one original grouping of these notes that were cut from a single sheet. The intended design is partially unclear, as all known examples are uniface, which is an anomaly in this series of 1948 Rupiah banknotes. Nevertheless, this rare type is seldom offered, and there are only 16 examples graded in the PMG Population Report at the time of cataloging. An important opportunity to acquire a unique design that never came to fruition.
