China Central Bank of China 1 Yuan 1936 Pick 209 PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. A truly outstanding example of this famous design printed by the Chung Hwa Book Company Limited. Deep color inks and excellent margins are seen on both sides of this National Currency issue. The last Pick 209 we offered which was graded PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ realized $84,000 in June 2018. Although this example is graded one point higher than the previous offering, we have placed a conservative estimate due to the limited price history of these scarce notes, especially in such high grade.
