A grouping of Taiwanese notes issued by the Japanese during the occupation era. As a result, these notes were designed and printed in Japan, and features very distinctive Japanese attributes. All notes were directly convertible to Japanese Yen. The Shrine seen on all three notes is the Taiwan Grand Shrine, which was destroyed in 1944. A corner stain is noted on the 5 Yen note.
