Charles III gold 8 Escudos 1761 LM-JM AU55 NGC, Lima mint, KM68, Cal-1914, Onza-673 (Very Rare). A more difficult portrait type hailing from the first few years of Charles III's prolific reign, preserved just shy of a Mint State assignment. Glistening upon illumination, the selection stuns when in-hand, and despite a planchet imperfection to the reverse, boasts an alluring originality generally unseen for the type.
