Kings of All England. Imitation Cnut Penny (1050-1100) AU Details (Bent) NGC, Scandinavian (Denmark or Sweden) imitation of a pointed helmet issue. Draped and cuirassed bust to right, wearing pointed helmet, holding cross-tipped scepter in his right hand. Rev. Voided short cross with pellet at center, limbs united at base by two concentric circles; in each angle, broken annulet enclosing a pellet. Cf. SCBC 1158 (for prototype with bust to left).
