The bank was founded in 1903 and remained in business until its charter was cancelled in 1915 because it maintained inadequate reserves for its circulation. ABNCo produced this attractive 20 Pesos note which features a vignette of a street water vendor as well as a large portrait of J.A.U. Arana on the face and a view of an aqueduct on the back. This denomination is very scarce and is rare in grades above Fine condition.
