This bank was created from the merger of Banco Nacional Mexicano and Banco Mercantil Mexicano in 1884. It survived the Revolution and post Revolutionary eras and today is known as Banamex. Intended for issue in 1913, this note is a remainder with a seven digit serial number. Printed by ABNCo., the vignette at left is entitled First Land and depicts Columbus in sight of land. The back contains vignettes of the obverse and reverse of a 1913 50 Centavos coin. Third party grading company annotates rust.
