Printed by ABNCo., the Face Proof depicts the national eagle symbol and includes the light brown undertint used for production notes. The back proof is a bight orange decorative denominational design. Both proofs are mounted on cardstock. There are annotations on the back of both cards indicating that they were probably produced in 1881.
