Kirin. Kuang-hsü Dollar CD 1904 MS62 NGC, Kirin mint, KM-Y183a.2, L&M-552, Kann-488. "CAINDARINS". It is very unusual to find two Mint State Kirin Dollar specimens of the same date offered in the same sale, and though this piece is a grade lower than the previous lot, it is still a rare and beautiful representative of the issue. In contrast with the previous coin, this specimen is mostly un-toned, presenting to the viewer in a bright, pearl-white color that some collectors will find more appealing. The luster on this specimen is vibrant and strong and viewers need to be sure not to confuse the areas of heavy die-polish in the fields for evidence of cleaning. Undeniably Mint State, this selection should inspire significant bidding enthusiasm. HID09801242017 © 2024 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
