Republic gold 2 Escudos 1848/7 C-CE AU Details (Cleaned) NGC, Culiacan mint, KM380. A desirable example of this more elusive mint for the denomination, made even more so by the unnoted overdate, hairlines in the centers staying free of full watery luster in the peripheral registers. It is worthy of note that both the Gerber and Eliasberg collections lack a Culiacan 2 Escudos.
