Description
Barinas (Caujaral). Fantasy Date Cob Real 145 XF45 NGC, KM2. Also known as the 'chipi-chipi' issue, these imitation cobs were struck in the province of Barinas under authority of General Jose Antonio Paez from 1817-1824. Having a klippe-like planchet, this piece exhibits a strong "date" along with a deep metallic blue tone.
