Alexander II Proof Rouble 1872 CПБ-HI PR63 NGC, St. Petersburg mint, KM-Y25, Bit-85. Obv. Crowned double-headed eagle, with orb and scepter. Rev. Crowned date and value within wreath. Deeply mirrored fields with a superb strike and minor marks. The obverse exhibits mottled gray toning, while the reverse has a sparkling golden tint. This is the finest example of only two pieces certified in Proof by NGC and PCGS combined.
