Description
Spanish Colony. Isabel II Counterstamped 8 Reales ND (1837) XF40 NGC, KM109, Basso-43. Type VI Crowned Y.II. countermark on an 1835-Ba RS Colombia 8 Reales. Handsomely toned host coin with deep steel-gray patina, and a boldly detailed countermark centered on the obverse. Very desirable in this format and scarcely offered as such.
