Augustus (27 BC-AD 14). AR cistophorus (28mm, 10.51 gm, 6h). NGC VF 5/5 - 3/5, Fine Style. Restitution issue under Hadrian, unidentified Mint C in Asia Minor, ca. 128-138. IMP CAESAR-AVGVSTVS, bare head of Augustus right / HADRIA-NVS-AVG•P•P•REN•, Hadrian, bareheaded and togate, standing facing, head left, grain ears in outstretched right hand, left wrapped in toga. RIC I 532. Metcalf Type 92. Handsome portrait in fine style of Augustus with likeness of Hadrian.
