CYPRUS. Lapethus. Ca. 435 BC. AR stater (22mm, 11.00 gm, 5h). NGC XF 4/5 - 4/5. Helmeted head of Athena left / Head of Athena facing, wearing crested helmet. cf. Tziambazis 48. See NAC auction 52, lot 791 for another example - apparently an unrecorded variety of a very rare type.
