Zog I gold Prova 100 Franga Ari 1928-R UNC Details (Obverse Repaired) NGC, Rome mint, KM-Pr38, Pag-791. Bust right variety. By G. Romagnoli. A handsome representative from one of the more collectible series of early 20th century Europe, especially when located as a Prova. On offer is an unquestionably successful composition, featuring the proud bust of Zog and reverse arms both framed by a high-relief foliate border. While the noted repair is subtle, obscuring what appears to be a scratch across Zog's cheek, this ultimately does little to temper the piece's visual caliber.
