Qajar. Nasir al-Din Shah gold "Portrait Type" 1/5 Toman AH 1274 (1858/1859) UNC Details (Bent) NGC, Tehran mint, A-2926A (RRR). Exceedingly rare fractional portrait type, not appearing at auction with any regularity and certainly not in uncirculated condition. Ample luster still grips the flan, sparkling around the somewhat crude but still discernable strike. An incredible opportunity for the collector that has waited patiently to acquire this type.
