This piece, sporting a pleasing and accurate mid-grade designation, boasts appreciable, uniformly slate-gray surfaces washing over lightly struck features, the most prominent weaknesses seen to the crown and the letters "RV" of "PETRVS." The surprising level of preservation on this early emission coupled with its general aesthetic appearance contribute heavily to desirability of this offering, which is surely to cause significant interest and spirited bidding.
