Vaughton & Sons, Birmingham burgundy case of issue. F. H. Faulding & Co was a pharmaceutical company founded in Adelaide, Australia, in 1845 by Francis Hardey Faulding (23 August 1816 – 19 November 1868). The Faulding company innovatively propelled its success by mastering a distillation process for eucalyptus oil and by developing a method to measure the oil's eucalyptol content. Their work with eucalyptus oil culminated in the creation of an antiseptic known as "Solyptol," establishing its place in the market as a soluble eucalyptus oil product.
