William III silver Specimen "Landing of William of Orange at Torbay" Medal 1688 SP61 PCGS, Eimer-298, MI-I-639/65. 49mm. By R. Arondeaux. Plain edge. An enticing satirical silver Medal, celebrating the arrival of William III ready to take his place as King whilst the deposed James II is depicted behind him in flight. This example has a generous layer of glossy brilliance still intact and a wonderful 17th century nautical scene on the reverse. The only example presently certified at PCGS.
