Lealana silver Loaded (Unredeemed) "King Kam - Gilt Body/Frosted" 1 Bitcoin (BTC) 2016 MS70 NGC, Ahonen Unlisted. Maximum Issued: 30. Serial #8. Type UF (User-Funded). 47mm. Firstbits 13UwN7HE. Lealana's creator Noah Luis, nickname 'smoothie', announced the original "King Kam" two-ounce silver coin on the BitcoinTalk.org forum on September 13, 2016. Priced at 0.26 BTC (approximately $160), with an additional 1 BTC required to fund the coin, the stunning artwork immediately created an enthusiastic buzz in the community. The obverse is dominated by King Kamehameha I, the revered Hawaiian leader celebrated for uniting the Hawaiian Islands under his rule in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Turning to reverse, the satin finish of the intricately decorated surfaces creates an intriguing juxtaposition with the sparkling hologram of complex artistry, which depicts a ship transitioning from traditional world to the uncharted waters of cryptocurrency. While the original mintage of the silver "proof-like" and "reverse proof-like" was announced at 250 pieces, the various gilt / gold foil iterations were presumably released in much smaller numbers at only 30 examples each, making them considerably rare. A pristine example graded to technical perfection, and as such an immensely covetable target for the hard-core physical cryptocurrency specialist. Dubbed "King Kam" by enthusiasts, the officially titled "Sailing Into Uncharted Waters" Lealana coin captures the grandeur of King Kamehameha I, who ruled the Hawaiian Islands from 1795 to 1819. Smoothie, Lealana's creator who is rooted in Hawaii, chose this powerful imagery to honor the enduring legacy of Kamehameha, a figure of immense pride and historical significance to Hawaiians.
