Guyana River Hoard glass "Dutch Onion Bottle" ND, 190mm x 130mm. A sizable "onion" or "squat" bottle that has survived an estimated 300 years of creation, use, and then recovery with minimal damage. It boasts a beautiful sage-emerald hue within the hand-blown glass, sealed by an intact cork. It is accompanied by an old artifact/collectors tag that attributes it as a Dutch bottle, ca. 1725-1740, that was found within a hoard of bottles in Guyana. Today, this offering presents a rare chance to own a unique historical artifact that has withstood the test of time. HID09801242017 © 2024 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
