Presenting little to no signs of its past submerged. The East Indiaman De Liefde (The Love) sunk with its crew and cargo on November 7th, 1711 after being struck by a storm near the Shetland Islands, leaving a single survivor. About 2,000 of the recorded 227,000 Guilders were recovered by locals following the ships sinking, with the treasure of about 1800 silver and gold pieces rediscovered in the 1960's.
