Provisional Government 8 Reales 1823 LM-JP AU58 NGC, Lima mint, KM136. Provisional Coinage. A very scarce two-year "Provisional" Crown-type from the earliest days of the new Peruvian Republic. Though the strike is a bit soft and the central obverse displays planchet flaws, the attractive patina and residual luster carry this example to a conditionally scarce tier, one grade away from Mint State.
