Constantius II, as Caesar (AD 337-361). AV solidus (21mm, 4.42 gm, 6h). NGC XF 4/5 - 4/5. Trier, AD 335-336. FL IVL CONSTANTIVS NOB C, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius II right, seen from front / PRINCIPI-IVVE-NTVTIS, Constantius II, as prince of the youth, standing facing in military dress, head left, vexillum with medallion on banner in right hand, scepter in left; two signa at right, TR in exergue. RIC VII -, cf. 572-576 for Constantine II and Constans. RIC footnotes on p. 221 for 572 "Maur. i, p. 490, rev. IV. 3, records a Constantius II, referring to Cohen 162, in V.: non-existent."
