Description

Meiji Yen Year 34 (1901) MS67 PCGS, KM-YA25.3, JNDA 01-10A. The very finest example certified across both NGC and PCGS. It is likely that the coin will remain unsurpassed, as one virtually never encounters larger issues of the era with such a degree of preservation and eye appeal, much less so when specifically looking at the Yen issues of the period. The planchet positively glows with satiny luster, framed by a full rainbow of gorgeous iridescent color spanning the spectrum. Absolutely awe-inspiring and a jewel of a coin.
